Pen Control - Assignment 1

I have tried to do as same as possible
encountered issues -

• I was not able to find basic brush as shown by marc in video for
  assignment as shown in video, because i am new in photo shop
• Any suggestions on controlling the start of brush is not that sharp as show in example, was not able to achieve that.

Any suggestions on controlling the start of brush is not that sharp as show in example, was not able to achieve that.

It's been a while since I last used Photoshop, but my suggestion would be to adjust the pen pressure either in the tablet settings or in the individual brush settings. It might take a while to find the sweet spot that works for you, it's best to experiment for a while.
