The proportion drawings don't look bad from what you have. Men tend to have wider necks, more in line with the width of the jaw, and sometimes drawing the neck shorter than a female illustration can help too.

Marc goes over the differences in the video, there are only a few of em and it looks like you are doing fine.

Love your stock and forms btw, been popping in and looking when ever you post things.

Absolutely love seeing your updates! I really love your cylinders and see what you've done with them really helps me visually. I think your figure drawings with the cylinders are on point.

I've only drawn men in the past so my experiences is slightly different. I personally haven't gotten to the proportions section of the video, so take what I say with a grain of salt... Women tend to have slender and less defined/angular features in comparison to men. That said your man's shoulders and hips look a bit too similar to your females, and your female's calves are too defined like that of a man. I'd also like to note the legs on the third portion appear to be squeezing their legs together rather than standing up straight. This is most likely due to the fact that the right calve is angled or a bit too defined.

On a minor note, a man's "half way" point (on a 8 head figure) should be at the middle of the crotch rather than below it.

I like your drawings of the proportions. Well done! As a critique I'd say: try not to break the main action line up in multiple smaller lines. The primary action line is 1 line that follows the biggest shapes (head, torso, pelvis) and sometimes limbs to make a clear gesture.

Here are two examples that I found on google of what I mean! I know they are from cartoons, but animators are real masters at figure drawing and gesture and useful to learn from =) Good luck!

I think you have made a good start with these exercises. Practicing gesture daily is great for loosening up as well as figures, however I would recommend putting more time and focus into the line of action, joints and structure exercises it will really pay off.

Everything looks awesome, you are doing a really good job in my opinion.

thank you all for your advice and comments they have been quite encouraging and helpful cant wait to see more of your stuff and comments

I really just wanted to say Im loving that perspective drawing you've uploaded. Its really cool! I havent yet started it myself! I was wondering if there were specific things you learned while working on that one? Well anyway, keep it up! Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

The things i found useful well working on it is mostly looking up reference, accurate lines, and it took so much longer then i thought it would. thanks for your comment also when you get into detail its so fun to draw
