Term 2 Eyes practice - Feedback pls :-)

Hello, i did some eye practice and tried to focus on showing the planes and give them a 3D look.
Please let me know how i can improve on them

I just feel like you just need cleaner lines but you already mentioned that you know your lines are messy. I think having tighter lines will show mistakes off more.
I have a few recommendations.
1. Check out Micheal Hampton anatomy book. One of my favs when it comes to covering anatomy.
2. Add shading. - Adding more shading to the 3d form can help. Just render it as a ball
3. Draw overtop of the photo reference and take notes. A good thing you can try is draw over 4 to 6 photos while writing notes on things you notice as the artist. Then turn the photos off and try drawing from memory. Compare the traced version with the notes with the sketch from memory. Take note of things you missed out one and what you didn't. Doing this slowly helps you get a better understanding of how to draw the parts without as much reference or no reference.

Be extra careful with the irises, that's the only part of an eye which is perfectly circular and never change from one person to the other.

Check out your ellipses (how the circle of the iris is deformed when viewed in perspective) and your symetry (said ellipse should be the same on the horizontal axis).

This should help making better eyes.
