Trying to get better at doing multiple characters at once. So I took some that I'd done a while ago and I've begun reworking them and mixing it up a little bit.

What inspires your designs? How did you come up with shapes so interesting and cool?

@Kelisi You know most of these are just done on instinct without too much thought behind since I just do them at lunch to keep in practice. It's all kind of instinctual so its pretty much built on whatever I happened to be looking at thats still fresh in my mind.
This is getting really interesting. The way the weapon looks next to the hand is weird but I think I get the kind of idea your going for. Love the eyes and hair. Some things are still flat and sketchy but I understand this is just a sketch. I think my favorite part about this is the face tattoos. If I could recommend something. it would be to add some accent colors to different areas of the character clothes. Maybe some tribal symbols similar to whats on her face can be spread around to give her more story. I don't know how much more you'll push this but these are just my thoughts. Great work so far. Look forward to more. Looking at these latest wips of yours makes me realize I need to hurry up and put out some work on my sketchbook/blog.

@malcom Yeah definitely some good ideas for polish on her. Ideally I'd do few color comps and figure all the stuff out ahead of time, but since it was initially a doodle I didn't do too much thinking ahead of time.

really love these, especially the last one. I think the back design is really complex compared to the front but when I think about this character being in a 3rd action game, I think it's fine. The details are interesting.
Quick question, how long do you spend working on these? I also really like the girl with the curly hair an metal arm. Keep up the good work. Loving the sketches.
