@malcom Maybe one of these days I'll do a turn around. Just finding myself a bit busy for proper concepts. Anyway here's some more mixing it up.

These 3 are pretty cool. Only things that kinda stand out are the length of the one on the left and the one in the middle arms. They seems strange proportion wise. I think its because the bicep is long and seems to extend past the ribcage establish in these. But then again the anatomy is really stylized I really do like the style of these 3 and how you pushed the anatomy. Those studies of nbekkaliev have really helped. These are really interesting to look at in all aspects.

I think the right knee(from the viewer perspective) from the middle figure is broken. Beside that i like her design.

@malcom Yeah it's something I was noodling around with a bit. I wanted add a bend but I ended up just lengthening it.
@shivor there's a slight bend and a twist. But the as they say, "If it looks wrong, it looks wrong." even if it's technically possible. So I'll probably change the angle of the foot.

Maybe it wasn't really clear what i meant with it (because my english is terrible) so im trying to explain it a bit better.^^
The only way that i know to get a leg like that is having knock knees:

And that is currently what you have, because of the Z rotation on the leg:

Hope it is now more clear. Of course if it was your intentional to making a leg for a reason a knock knee than it would be fine but i dont think it was the direction that you want to go with that character.

Oh I totally understood, I was saying that the rotation of the knee appears off because the knee pad makes it look as if the patella is facing front. If you swing the hip and turn the knee inward and bend slightly while resting the the foot on the heel it can still actually pivot the at the ankle. but in this case the angle was too extreme. It's something that happens if you're slightly knock kneed, and I think the figure in the reference I was looking at was.

Just checked your progress in here. I really, really like your sketches. They're so organic, they feel "alive" - this effect somehow fades a little, when you're getting into rendering in some pieces. Probably, you have to push contrast a little bit more, push the shadows to some darker values, to retain the depth of the shapes. There are a few portraits here that nailed it, like the black girl with blue gloves - look how her jevelery pops out in there. You're doing a great job overall. Can't wait for more!

Thanks @cafi Yeah I'm trying to work on maintaining the same value range in color illustrations. struggle with color in general so it's gonna be a long road for that xD.
