Hey guys, ConcepArtVL here. In this blog, I'll be showing you the progress of my artwork over the past year.

I mainly do space-related art, but for 2022, I'm looking forward to learning fantasy art - mainly for a game that I'm working on.

For now, I'll begin by posting some of my first published pieces on ConceptArtVL.com and I'll add more designs later.

Here's one of my earlier space scenes that I created during my early learning process. I used a combination of Vue and Photoshop for this design. Enjoy.

This concept art is another one of my sci-fi creations. For this piece, I mainly used Vue 3D for the environment. For the ships, I used a combination of Illustrator and Cinema 4D. To finish it up, I added postwork using Photoshop.

Planet Arcadia. Another one of my concept art designs venturing into other worlds and advanced civilizations. I really like the overall atmosphere of this design. Makes me want to actually go there.

PREPARE FOR JUMP - TRIBUTE TO HOMEWORLD

"JUMP DRIVES INITIATED ... JUMP SEQUENCE IN 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ..."

Of all the art pieces that I've created - I have to admit that this one is my personal favorite. As you may have guessed by now, I'm a blatant sci-fi fan and to me this images blatantly yells SCI-FI in your face. I guess that's why I like it so much. Available as HD Wallpaper and Mobile Wallpaper.

I'll be using this as my "Flagship Image" from now on - unless of course, I happen to make something that literally SCREAMS sci-fi, lol.

I'll also be using it as one of my background images on this website.

As always, I love to use elements from multiple programs to create my concept art images. For this one I used Photoshop, 3DS Max, Vue, Poser and Illustrator.

Very nice work in there! Your environments are pretty cool. I was wondering something. I saw you mentionned you used Illustrator for a few of these. What do you use it for specifically? It's not a program I see mentionned a lot for these types of work you do.
