This image by Seunghee Lee has been one of my favorites for quite a while, so I decided to take the challenge of translating it to 3D (rigging it, too!)
Working in Zbrush right now to get some good bakes and shapes. Then I'll retopologize (Maya), go into Substance to get some material and lighting maps, and finally hand paint in 3D Coat! I'll use a high poly render of the bakes as painting reference. The goal is a painterly yet semi-realistic style!
