So while watching the livestream I did the sketch for this challenge including comments from you all about the guy (sorry @chiara.arcidiaco still haven't named him, but you can give him a code name if you want 
).
Any critique about composition/design?
I LOVE it hahah this is so great... I really like the elements of his clothes and his facial expression is really intense.
One saddle thing that I would change is the canvas size, to make the emphasis more clear with the thirds composition and make the elbow not so near to the edge of the canvas. Forgive me I give it a try downloading it and I was thinking something like this.

Yes I think that it's better, even if it was awesome just before hahah I'm so damn curious how you will render those crystals 
And I forgot to say that I love the idea of crystal teeth of the dragon hahah I didn't expect that

My problem is that the more references I see the more ideas I get and then my previous idea seems updated to me... I don't know hahah I try to not rush on it but there are also cons on this method
Make three design ideas and show us. We'll tell you which combination we like most.

Chiara yay! I'm happy you're going with this idea. I really like the imposing greatness of the Queen. I'm gonna do here what you did to me How about a golden spiral proportion?
Everything else in the environment seemed irrelevant to her greatness.
ohhh Vika this looks great... it totally changed my perspective in a good way hahah I have never done this kind of ratio but, why not best way to start

We didn't set any limits for techniques. I'm planning on using 3D as a help as well.
Hey guys,
I finally had some time to get back to the translucent challenge. I resized the canvas to place the character with regard to the rule of thirds. I also drew the details of the tentacles, added a foreground and came up with a friendly face design.
I'm getting crazy with all these light sources. 
The suckers (XD) or acetabulum on the tentacles glow.
I also added a light source in the background to illuminate his torso more.
Would I be lucky if I met her while diving?
It really looks great! Very calm.
