Nice work on the space girl and sketches. The face shading looks good. I don't have many tips but you can shade the dark and lightly overlap the colors, then use the eye dropper tool and blend the colors. I'm not sure how to explain it.

Yes! I think those what Marc refers to as "terminators" (or borders as the video calls them). At least personally I've been practicing doing some of it with manual blending, but when I try to use gradient maps to do it, it hasn't worked out.

Just need to keep trying and experimenting. That's a good short.

It might not look like I did much but man trying to color the skin with the bounce light and the light from the hair is hard lol spend like 2 hours on the face and hair

lolol #canrelate XD but its coming along relaly well. the blue glow is almost a bit too blue imo or rather.. not blue enough in that it looks kinda like a dull grey instead of a glowy blue-ish tint

Yup thats how I make my painting by using the dropper tool gives you nice gradients

Yea I try and do manual painting most of the time tho I think it comes more natural to me because I use to paint with real paint. I try to push the painting as far as I can by myself then at the end I add in filters to make the panting pop.

Yea it's kinda like what the video said above where one color is darker than the skin so it muddies it a bit but I'm not too sure how to add in a separating shadow when its so close to the light source. It's small enough so I don't think it will affect the piece too much

Ok I think I'm done with it learned some new things too. I'm not too sure but I might have pushed my ending filters a little too much tell me what you guys think and if I should turn the opacity down a bit

Yea I agree The moon felt like it was too much so im glad I removed it

Been a bit busy with work so I've only been able to do a few sketches the past couple days

Mostly I still used reference for example with the witch hat ans some of the emotions

Nicely done! Effects look pretty nifty!

Song has a very unique techno tempo to it. Not to my taste (I just don't listen to techno usually), but I know several people who would like it.
