a rough lineup of small people, who live in or near abandoned buildings and they can jump really high

these small people are collecting food and craft materials for their community outside their homes. They are also using photosynthesis to feed themselves, so then there's no sun they need some source of light and they always have some glowworms to fulfill their needs.
