Another self portrait.
I focused on drawing loosely and more rough, so you're able to see the strokes. I also didn't want to be afraid of using darker tones.
It's crazy to see the first self portrait (finished January) and this one (finished August) next to each other.

My fantasy creature/monster portrait.

I used Anubis and Komainu as inspiration; mythical dog-like creatures from Ancient Egypt and Japan.

I really enjoyed making this. And with this assignment I finished term 2!

At the moment I'm also working on a course about acrylic paint, which means I'm not working on Art School as fast as I used to. But I'm still working on it, of course. Can't wait to work on clothes in term 3!
