WIP Character art - Norse Berserker

Been chipping away at this mad lad for a while. Tried my hand at various techniques, such as adding in textures, filters and blurs for effects and whatnot. Could use some general feedback, what are the piece's shortcomings and what I can improve going forward!

the guy is so scary, great work .
I'm at the beginning of character design, but i try to describe my impressions.

The position of both arms feels not right. I think, the hand with the head has to be placed behind the leg and the other arm should be place further forward. Think of your posture when you are walking.

The focal point are the tattoos, because they are sharp. In my opinion, every first look in a character design should be the face.

Hi and thanks for the advice! I definitely noticed some things after you pointed them out, and some things such as the dark forehead I've already considered, so you're definitely right there too! I'll see what I can do on this and I'll post an update.
