Hi guys! I used to be a member on the old forums i'm very glad it's finally back!

After playing Dark Souls 3 I got massively inspired to do some dark fantasy stuff so i've been working on this illustration and I think i'm mostly done with the sketch. I'm going to do a study of this picture: http://68.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lui9udEmOy1r5mgtgo1_1280.jpg
I think it has a great atmosphere and I would like the background to have a similar one.

Looks very good to me so far, but I am not an expert in perspective. You have a nice composition and strong vocal point. I would double-check her spear pose though, it might look better if it went under her arm instead of behind it. Cool creature design (Fits the environment you chose). Would you mind posting again as you paint? I will see what I can critique later on with rendering.

Ah, one more thing. The frog's leg will lead your eye off the page, but that can be fixed easily with atmospheric perspective and just darkening it.

Thank you very much for your critiques! Yes, I will post it as I keep painting but I haven't touched it for a while as I am completely into art war right now haha!
