Hi Guys,
This challenge intrigued me and thought i can learn plenty from this experience, and hopefully finishing something for once.
Anyways, for this challenge I decided to create an underwater scene as I've been wanting to try something along those lines for quite some time now. The setting for this scene is that sometime during an alternate 16th century, a major catastrophe /earthquake happened and sent areas of Western Europe to the depths of the sea. That same earthquake created an opening in the seabed where an ancient yet highly advanced race of amphibious humanoids had lived. Having a curiosity towards the newly submerged ruins of cities and towns, they created facilities within and around the ruins to further study them without having have to expose themselves and stay hidden in the safety of the ocean.
I've created a basic sketch and a mood board for this challenge. I'm not much of a concept artist so do mind the sketches. hehehe.
What I hope to learn from this challenge is to finish a project, something that seems to be so hard to do for me as of late. I also hope to be able to further learn techniques to streamline my workflow as well as touch up on skills that I have 'left unused' for quite some time now.
