Man, it's been 12 days since my last post. I've been drawing very little, but at least got in figure drawings on a little more than half of the days. Also about done on the videos for term 2 and will work on those assignements next.
I'll probably keep doing figure drawings as warmups or in betweens, as I still feel like I am making good progress on those.
Also tried working on the 3-point-perspective assignement and pushing it with a bit more design. I started doing some thumbnails, but got really frustrated when trying to put the thumbnail into a more refined drawing.
Here are the thumbnails:
To be honest, I really hate showing this stuff, but I think it might be beneficial to accept that a lot of drawings, especially the more experimental ones, look very poor. I do however like the idea, although I am pretty sure that noone apart from
myself can decipher what I am trying to convey :D.
The idea was quite simple: Take a waterwheel, make it gigantic and hammer it into the wall of the 3-pp-assignement. To give it a purpose I wanted to add some roman aqueduct like structures.
Putting it all together in a way that makes sense is where I fall short. The plan is to grab some references and try again tomorrow. Any advice is always welcome =).
