Hello everyone, I'm Yan Ling, a freelancer 2D artist form Taichung Taiwan.

I saw the Marc Brunut's channel on Youtube and liked the way he taught, so I started Art school, hoping to review my foundation, learn new things, and make myself a better artist.

Today's practice. It is pen control assignment at Term 1 : Photoshop for Digital Production 1.

Today's practice. Before I started drawing, I did the pen control exercise again. It took me 25 minutes.

New practice. Continuing the exercises from the previous lesson, the second one is smooth metal. If there have any suggestions, feedback is welcome.

The plaster material exercises in the previous lesson became my reference for light source. I also found other’s material research to reference, and the painting process was very nice.

About Art School course, my progress is as slow as tortoise. English isn't my mother tongue, so I only can translation and understanding a few minute content a day. But, the course is valuable. I will not give up.

Grid lines are drawn temporarily, and the scale becomes 3:4. I found it wrong after finishing. The human body looks fat lol.

Very nice work! This is big improvement! I think we practice in a similar way, I always write down math notes and such as I go to help me remember. Your cylinder tracings are also very good! Fantastic work! Keep it up!

This is some good improvement. Now you just have to work on the symmetry. The hands and feet are slightly lower the other.
