Hi @marc , i would like to ask something:

if i graduated from college 6 months ago from a game dev related degree, but i have never freelanced and my current job is not art related, can i participate on the amateur category or can i participate on the professional one?

What exactly makes an amateur?

What makes an amateur artist? You're an amateur if you don't make a living doing art - that's it. If your main source of income is through your art whether it be running your own business, working freelance or in a studio, this league is not for you.

It should start towards the end of the month - lots of things to finalize to get it ready! It won't be a monthly, from now on contests will be around 2 month long - with pretty nice prizes

Only the finished piece is allowed in the topic and yes before the deadline
You should also post 1 entry under the challenge of the week, which would be your finished painting
No WIP's required

Is it ok to do fanart for the challenge? I don't mean copying someone else's painting, just using an already existing character.
