One thing to note, I'm not sure if you are grouping the middle part of the neck with the sternocleidomastoid, the middle part of the neck is actually your windpipe or trachea. Its a series of hard cartilage rings that protect your airway. Some of the cartilage is actually harder than others. If you feel the cartilage on your neck you will feel a very hard spot of cartilage in the middle with a softer part just above it which is relevant for some medical procedures not necessarily drawing. I don't know how much of the trachea information is relevant but you would be able to visibly see the rings on some people. I guess what I am trying to say is just to know that its different from the sternocleidomastoid and I wonder if the lines would actually go horizontal as if across a cylinder. That I don't know. I am a respiratory therapist is the only reason I know this lol.

It's entirely possible that they should be there. I was more so going over these areas just following the assignment guidelines, but I'll be going back and doing a full muscle study like Marc outlines in this chapter and the following one which would go into a lot more detail!

and here we have my anatomy for the lower body! I couldn't find a good reference for a toned female from behind so that's minorly upsetting.

I'll move on to doing a more detailed muscle study over a skeleton and see what I can fix with my anatomy mistakes!

I messed up a bit on the perspective and where to put the vanishing points, however I felt like it gave a bit more of a challenge (albeit it looks very wonky...)

So, I'll be moving on to doing stuff with term 5!

Here we have my studies of 3 animals of different skull types. I plan to come back and do some more studies when I learn a bit more about indepth rendering.

Hey all, been working on the current chapter of the art school program and wanted some additional input on which of these 3 designs you think would work for a research in a sort of soulsborne setting. Design A I pushed a little further than necessary and stopped myself from going to far on the idea, but I'm looking to push these designs a little further and turn them into a corrupted researcher as part of the world I'm building.

And input would be highly appreciated!

Hey Generally I like A the most but if you are going for dark fantasy researcher kind of vibe i would give him hood form B and add monocle. Nothing screams dark fantasy spooky science guy like a faint reflection of light from the shiny monocle under their dark hood. especially if you are going for corruption it adds a very spooky vibe

Yeah, I was leaning more towards B myself, just wanted some additional input to make sure I wasn't just leaning towards what I like and not what other people would like.

So, I pushed design B a little further and did 3 iterations of that, then ended up with this before going in and doing any further rendering, hope you all enjoy!

Same thing applies, any feedback you might have would be appreciated and I'll see if I can incorporate it into the rendering.
