Nice work in here!

I think your painting is progressing faster than your drawing. I think mixing in a few studies will really help!

Also, I love your 3D! Now I want to do some haha!

Hey @big-misch!

Drawing is very important, it is the structure and the very core of paintings, I realized this a few years ago when I had gotten a tablet way too early. Since then, I've spent far more time drawing than painting, and when I do occasionally paint, it is for fun and to see how much I've developed!

As for mixing in a few studies, what exactly do you mean? I would've thought that this is it? :smile:

Also, thanks for your compliment! 3D is really fun and it'll only be more needed in the industry as time goes forward, so it wouldn't hurt to play around with it! :smile:

Nice rendering to look at! Such soft brush strokes :smile: Photoshop or Sai?
One thing really distracts me: her ears are way too high up, I'd expect her ear lobe to be in line with her nose tip.

This looks super awesome, although the left side of the face seems a little larger than it should be. But apart from that I love the colors and can't wait to see how this piece develops further. :smile:

@enalya

Thank you! All of it was photoshop, airbrush tool can do wonders! :smile:
Interesting, I didn't notice this myself! Thanks for pointing it out :smile: I might edit the post and correct it later!

@PandaBrush
Thank you for the compliment! Now that you're saying it, it does look too large! Really appreciate you pointing it out, this is really helpful :smile: I don't think I'm going to develop it into a piece, it was meant to be a one day thing!

Looks like you hade super fun making this :smile: Have you studied perspective? I think some more understanding of that wold help you alot. Keep going!

Improvements! :smile: I'd say make the eye corners/shadows a bit redder, it's never really black/grey there. I also think the left eye iris has a too oval shape.
Keep going, I'm curious about more rendering, the hair for example!

I looked back and saw you do have one post with torso studies. Those were great! I guess I was just saying do more! :smiley:

Oh, I see! I'm trying to learn a specific thing atm however, that is the fastest way to get to where I want. No need for torsos atm!

Just studies in general, from reference is what I meant. So if you want to do faces, do faces! Whatever it is you want to improve on!

Cool stuff! Nice to see the portraits,I'm doing that too but they're hard haha :sweat_smile: Really nive models too!

Nice work! Good variety and interesting shapes!

Nice silhouettes! I really like the ball and chain combo as jewelry ornamentation, ahaha

Very cool these silhouette studies! Nice shape language, it works :wink:
