Hi there
I'm Harley or (Adayics), I'm an 18 year old artist (soon to be 19 in march)
I've been drawing like most people since i could hold a pencil. and I've been drawing digitally since i was 10 when my mom bought me my first tablet.
I do a lot of commissions on a site called GASRForum.com so a lot of the art I post in here might be from there but there will be some more personal works and studies, maybe sketches. haha.

But thanks for taking a look at my art blog thingy. ^ - ^' haha

This first piece is a personal one. I've been listening to BTS since they released their first album. I absolutely adore these boys. So i've decided to do some prints for my society6 shop, doing a 13x18 print for each of them this first one being Jung Ho-seok or J-Hope as he's better known as. ^^'
critiques are welcome, as well as compliments and suggestions. <3

Hello Harley :).

I really like the proportions in the first one and how you groupped hair masses. It's very nice base for colors and rendering. As for the second one I like skintones and blending through planes and hues of colors. I know the second one is also commission piece, but when you'll draw again similar pose I would suggest to avoid placing objects in sensitive places of an image like here with her smartphone which covers a little bit of neck and shoulder where three masses connects (I mean head, neck and shoulder). At the first glance I wasn't sure where her shoulder is (there's a little curve with similar hue to the skin just above her smartphone, but I could see also shoulder on the right side of the image and I was a little bit confused. Also I think that her hand could be bigger, because it's on the foreground and that means closer to the viewer. I hope I helped you a little bit. And I'm looking forward to see how you progress with your new wip. Good luck !

Yeah the second one I already know i could have made the hand bigger and I had the arm moved in a different place before but she asked for it to be moved there, and as well was easier to get it into those small crops in the top right corner the commission was mainly for display pictures on this site so she asked me to move the arm there but yeah. If i were to draw this again i'd make the hand a little bigger as well as the wrist cause they are a little too small for her. but thank you for the feed back It's hard when its commissions, this person was really particular about how she wanted her OC posed.

Hi there, welcome!
I really like your sketches. The digital art could use some work, but they're pretty solid already for you being so young

A few things I'd improve on:
- The highlights are very tiny and scribbly, I'd make them a bit larger/blurred out and less white.
- Try to sketch the anatomy and proportions correct before going into any detail or colour. I can't say this enough to aspiring artist: first get you sketch working. Because no matter how much you render and polish, the drawing isn't good when things are off.

You rendering looks nice, especially the hair. Good luck

All of these are digital. I don't post tradition stuff online..... Or even draw traditionally anymore.
Those sketches are digital sketches.... lol....ermm.
I've always hated traditional art. digital drawing makes me happy where traditional drawing don't give me the same satisfaction.

and those were commissions. I have various styles I offer to my customers, and most people in my shop want the more "Anime" / "semi-realism" Style that I offer over realism and what not. So those "Scribbly" highlights are a style thing which I've chosen to do. I know that if i wanted it to be more realistic I wouldn't use tiny white lines like that but I am aware that they're "Tiny scrubbly lines" they're intentionally done that way not out of ignorance but out of choice. And I do sketch out my proportions before adding colour. I always start in black and white. and as I said in the post above if I were to do that one again I am fully aware that my proportions on that hand + wrist were a bit off.
But simply I just didn't want to fix it I got lazy. And the person didnt have an issue with it so I didn't bother to change it. I'll just work more on getting it right in the next piece I work on.

But Thanks I'm aware of my anatomy issues in that one drawing.

I agree with @enalya in that I think the J Hope drawings are the best so far. I'll be excited to see how the series of posters goes!

Okay, that's an honest reply You're right about the highlights, that is a bit of a style choice and personal preference. To me, it makes it look plasticy.

(Anime) style doesn't mean you can just ignore anatomy though, but you agreed on that!

Sorry if my reply seemed to be kinda harsh/with attitude. cx didnt mean it to come across that way. But yeah the highlights were a style choice. and yeah I know you cant ignore anatomy with an anime style but as i said for that specific commission I just got lazy and didnt want to fix it, and the girl said she didnt care one bit. If she did want it changed I Would have re done it cause it was on its own layer. c: But yeah definitely cant ignore anatomy for that style. I just got lazy.

Well I made a little more progress on my Print of J-Hope (Hoseok) Just roughly laying down colours.

And then well this is one of my OC's
her name is Kiari, and im just messing around with expressions.
only did 2 so far since I have work that I need to do. haha.
but the painting was done by me, and the pixel doll was a commission i had made of her.

Also working on another commission.
