construction from Scott Robertson's How To Render, print and practice section. Supposed to do a hand rendering over the top without reference, heres my effort. any critique would be appreciated. I know its a bit patch in parts, Im trying to get cleaner on organic forms but it's hard.

Sorry for the "like" spam, but this was a great thread to look through! I'm coming back after a hiatus and I'm excited to see so many awesome artists active now.
I can really see the switch where you started to pay more attention to detail and get into the nitty gritty of things. I also like that you're looking into other resources, I feel like that's one of the best ways to improve. I'm definitely going to subscribe to the New Master's Academy in the near future.

yeah NMA is a good resource, they have a lot great stuff on there. The Linear Perspective Master Course is the best out there in my opinion.

Another Matte Surface hand rendering. went for the top down light again, keeping it simple for now. shifted the light forward slightly in order to catch some of the wheels. Again, an exercise from Scott Robertson's how to render, Ill share the provided underdrawing too.
