Yooo Chomper, these look sooo good, I LOVE how you draw your figures!! the blocks and spheres look so aesthetically pleasing omg XD

and yep i feel ya about how there is little time to draw aside from weekends and some weekdays after work :3 progress has been slow on my side too haha but so long as we are improving i think that is good

Figured I'd dump a couple of the things I've been doing over the past couple weeks. I need to go back through and export some of the other quick studies and stuff I've been doing but figured I 'd post something again.

Last time I posted I'd been working on a sort of recipe for myself, I think I've got a working-ish one now so I've kind of backtracked and have been testing it with some of the term 1 exercises and trying to better polish it. The results are varied but I'm enjoying myself.

I've been using the Pomodoro Method that Marc covered in one of his videos and that has really helped me to get some mileage. Most of the studies that I've done have been completed in one (sometimes 2, for like clean up or if I wanted to experiment with shading) sessions of the pomodoro, so I feel like that is some progress, even if the end results aren't always great.

The study of Alain has taken up most of the past 2-3 days. I had shortened time to draw so had to split him up and the details really messed me up. Still fairly how happy with how both of these studies turned out.

Hey everyone, been about a month again, figured I'd dump what I've been doing. Had a lot going on, we had pipes burst in our house on two separate occasions and now it looks like we are getting ready to move into a new place.

Been doing alot of gesture work plus filling a lot of primitive studies in my sketchbook. Started carrying a pocket sketchbook with me every where (put one in every jacket plus a pen/pencil). Been doing a lot of little doodles throughout my days now.

I've been adjusting my gesture studies, jumping between some days doing a minute, some day doing 2 minutes to get the overall proportions and shape of the body down quickly.

Anyways, still working through anatomy and character beginnings. Have been having a lot of fun. I've started really trying to study Marc's approach, which has made some things easier, but still a ways to go.

Plus, made some little character sketches over the past few days, just trying to push some of this into, hopefully, memory.

Still a long ways to go, my faces are rough but I've went from not being able to do them at all, to now being able to at least get a half decent face put on so I'll take the win. Anyways, hope you are all doing welll as always, I'll try to get some time to go through and catch up on everyone's work and at least leave some likes.

Been scrolling through your entire post and I have to say I'm really impressed with the sheer volume of practice, but not only that your line-control is phenomenal, especially in the primitive sections. I hope your move goes smoothly, hope to see more of your work in the future. ^.^

It's been a bit and wanted to post a few things up to show that I'm not dead hahah.

Don't have a whole lot of my recent stuff exported to post but here are a few studies that I've done, plus a little draft version of some characters for a project that I'm working on.

Been having a lot of fun with my art here lately and now that I am moved (it went well thanks for all the wishes for it ) I am able to do a lot more. I found that I'm able to dedicate about 4 days per week for 'good' practice and the other three I fill a small sketch book with really simple studies when I have time throughout the day and then do some sketching before bed.

Anyways, that's all I really have at the moment but I am going to try and get back to being more active here. Goal is going to be to try and post something either once a week or bi-weekly depending on how things go and I am going to try and actually respond more than just liking everyone's posts.

Thanks again for looking and I guess we will see next time I post if my hopes are successful, haaah.
