@patrycja.lerch @mitsuki-youko Thank you, I had a lot of fun doing it. It definitely needs more dynamism in it for sure, but gotta start somewhere right?
I don't have a lot to show for this post, the holidays have kept me pretty busy and I got back into playing Warframe, which had taken over my life for a few days, but I managed to get a few studies in nonetheless.
Being as it is the end of 2023, I took some time yesterday after I had completed my updated 1 point perspective assignment to kind of reflect on the year and my progress. I am by no means perfect, nor as far along as I had hoped to be, but when comparing my initial studies at the beginning of the year to now, the results are actually noticeable, which is nice.
Anyways, I will post up the new ones and a few of the old ones for comparison to kind of cap off this year so to speak.
My first artist study of the year, from before I started Term 1 and was trying the year long drawing challenge.

Still got a lot of work to do, but slowly but surely, I am getting to where I want to be. I remember that my initial 1 point project took me a few days to complete, this new one I had completed in around 3 - 4 hours which is also a good sign. I believe that first artist study took about 5-6 hours for me to complete, the newer one took around 3 and I got a lot more out of those hours than I was getting before. Just shows that although it may not always feel like it, I am getting more comfortable with all of these concepts over time and the more I practice.
Anyways, I will stop rambling now. Thanks for looking as always. I hope you've all had happy holidays and cheers to the new year! May it bring us all ever closer to our goals, not only in art, but in life overall!
