I have been trying to work on form and capturing the 3-dimensional look that seems to be escaping me. I got some very honest and helpful advice from my last post especially @echo_jk @cedricgo @malcom
So I went back and eliminated the line drawings completely and tried to understand how forms sit within each other, enclosed in the face. (i.e. how the eyeball sits inside the socket and the lids hug/wrap around the eyeball).
Here is one study I did that I wanted to get feedback on. Hopefully i'm steering in the right direction compared to previous attempts. Thanks! I think determining and sticking with a definite light source is also difficult for me alongside other issues I am trying to practice. Thanks for the advice.
