Anyone use Wacom Companion 2?

Is the fan actually loud? If I brought it to a library would I be bothering people sitting at the same table? It's the only thing stopping me from purchasing one.

If it's anything like the first one then it's perfect. My friend had the first one and it made no nose at all. I doubt there's any difference but if you can find a store in your area to try it out then that would be best. Sorry I can't help much more.

I own a Companion 2 since a few months. Describing noise is always a bit tricky so i hope my answer will help you.
If the library is completely quiet, nobody talks, not many people woalk around, the answer would most likely be yes. The fan is fairly loud for a device this size and the fans are necessary because the companion 2 produces a relatively high amount of heat.

If there are some people talking, walking around, ... it would be ok as long as you don´t do very complex things that lead to more heat. If the fans are on max it would definitely annoy people.
