Anyone using wacom tablet and 21:9 widescreen monitor?

So i'm planing to buy ultrawide 25' monitor for digital art so i'm wondering if tablet wont recognize 21:9 resolution and i will only be able to control portion of the screen with my tablet not all screen space.I am using wacom intuos pro large.

Doesn't sound too practical to be honest, I would go crazy not being able to reach the menus, unless there's a way to map what part of the screen is affected by the tablet and then cramp the whole drawing program in it, good luck anyway haha!

there is a screen split built in monitor so u can split it into 2 so its like using 2 monitors so that might be usefull so i can have ps on one side and photoshop or video tutorials on the other .Thank you for replay

You can just map the tablet to your whole screen. I don't think it matters how big, but 21.9 doesn't seem too bad. I'm on a 21.5 inch iMac and the Wacom works perfectly.

The monitor is not 21.9 inches 21:9 is resolution its not normal like ones normal monitors use it is ultra wide the monitor i will buy is 29"

I've got a 21:9 monitor and have a Cintiq 13HD, which is a great combination, but considering you're intending on getting a regular drawing tablet it doesn't sounds practical in my opinion.

It also depends on how you prefer to control things, i think if you end up going down this route it may get annoying when you can't control every aspect of your screen,

Got the monitor i already had the tablet and it works great , tablet uses the whole portion of the screen and and you can use the whole tablet so there is no need to turn that thing on to makes some portions of the tablet unusable.
Also can you hook a brother up with that overwatch wallpaper

Hi how are you? sorry but i have to ask.... your wacom tablet work without troubles on the ultrawide monitor? it detects the complete screen? how about usign ps or illustrator? Thanks

Yeah man it works great it detects the whole screen like it would with any other monitor and it works great in photoshop i dont use illustrator. You will get some extra space for references when you paint and it is really usefull.

Hell yeah its worth it in fps online games you have wider field of view so you can spot enemies easier and in games like witcher it looks awesome when you ride trough vilages or forests

Well man you convice me!!! i like to play titanfall 2, battlefield and 3rd person games so i think will work like a charm in the compatible 21:9 games.

It just forces the game to use 21:9 so for example when i tried la noire i wasnt able o use 21:9 res only 16:9 so when you run this fixer it makes the game use the fresolution of the monitor for example 2560x1080 the game looks normal its not streched or nothing just gives you a wider field of view but you should not worry about the fixer if you gonna play new games only since all of them support 21:9

My old wacom BAMBOO fun med. Works with my ultrawide monitor. I have it mapped to the left hand of my screen and use the mouse to set up reference material on the right. No real need to set it up like a second screen unless you were using another device for reference.
Unless you want a distorted ratio (i.e. drawing circles and getting ovals) you need to choose between mapping to part of the screen or part of the tablet. My tablet wasnt big enough to cut out any of the active working area. But an old wacom on Windows 10 works fine so newer intuos should be fine.

I suggest you buy it without any delay because I personally use this monitor and its damn good, its display no doubt very well, I bought it from last week from [grab the coupons] by using discount codes, I hope you will get here within low price.
