Hi I'm Aria, I've been on heist from practice for quite a long time and I have been in bad places recently, took me awhile to get back to drawing or getting my confident back so will be posting some of my work here . here's a fan art of Seraphine from League of Legends.

Dear Aria,

Judging by the illustration that you posted I have to say 2 things:

1) If you decide to quit, the world will be a poorer place because of it. You have such a great understanding of anatomy, values, palette, OMG you even used a texture to polish your drawing which shows you don't half-ass things. This is the kind of quality art the world needs, which means the world needs YOU. So do mankind a favor and get back into the amazing journey of art, for all our sakes!

2) Everybody feels down and untalented at times. It's absolutely normal and impossible to prevent that from happening. The secret is to keep going forward! Hey if Brad Rigney calls himself a hack, what should we call ourselves? XD
Failure will keep you humble, and through humility you will stay level-headed and focused. And that's a good thing!
I leave you with this bit of the magnificent Karla Ortiz. I watch it every once in a while to get perspective.

Hi Aria! It's definitely tough sometimes to do art when things get hard and I think it's alright to take a break from it if gets too difficult and come back with a fresher mind. But I think it's important to never give it up if it's something you like and make you feel good. And your art is definitely lovely and so I hope you will keep creating more

Hey guys, Thanks for the comments, it really helped me get pass the wall. Not gonna lie I still have that thinking but right now I'm just trying to put my art out and also try to learn how to get commissions so I can at least provide for myself. I have some friends recommending me to do stickers but will do that when i'm ready. Cause I am still having hard time to provide for myself. here is a portrait practice I did. I tried drawing things the way I love instead of other's way. I was really happy on how it came out. If you guys have any advice for Freelancing, commissioning or Fiverr , please leave it here. A little tip or advice goes a long way.

That's a lovely portrait! I'm glad you found motivation to keep going. As for freelancing, well I don't have a lot of experience, but putting yourself out is good as people will be able to find you. I've had a few jobs like that where the person just saw my work and liked it enough to commission me. You can also try to find and contact some local or small businesses and publishers that you think could need the type of art that you do.

I did a fanart for my brother, I actually have another art I was doing but got the worse sore throat I've ever got > < ;;; So I end up just doing my brother's request its a bit of a challenge cause I have to learn how to transparent her jacket. :\

Tried challenging myself by making a character in short time limit, came out nice.. this is the first time I draw anything Cat related I'm quite happy how she came out.

Not my best, but I still learn something from this. It's best to practice and learn from mistakes. I know this is not my best art but I am posting this to tell my future self that I've tried and hope I will be better at this by the time :)
