Art School Journey - Jazzy

Hello there!

My name is Jazzy and I've been chugging away at the art school classes for a while now (Took me a year to get to term 3 because life is pretty demanding). I'm a bit shy/nervous when it comes to my art, so I may not always post my progress but I would like to be more active in the community. I would love to do concept art or illustration for any company and perhaps release my own comic book story.

But I guess that's all. Thanks for reading ^_^

Welcome Jazzy! Don't worry, we're all introverts here, Marc included. I found that posting art here keeps me accountable for actually completing things I set my mind on. Looking forward to seeing your art when you're ready.
Feel free to join the Translucent Character Challenge as well if you feel like participating. We're just doing it for fun.

Welcome, Jazzy. I can definitely relate to not showing anyone your art until you feel ready — I didn’t share any of my practice works for years. Nice to see you joining the crew. That’s a big step!

Welcome aboard! Your figures have a lot of life and have really nice proportion, you only lack the line quality so be sure to make some exercises on that matter and undo a lot

Thank you! I actually do the line exercise from term one pretty frequently as I know it is one of my weaker areas ^_^

really impressive!! Pretty big amount of work haha But I was impressed mostly for the quality of it, awesome job. And I super like the tiny portraits really volumetric, are you using the asaro head?

Very dynamic and readable poses. Especially last couple pages. Love the head constructions too!
