Hi all. Got some time and decided to join this challenge. I'm a bit too late for the party but willing to participate.
The initial idea is about the sacred forest where all lived in harmony. But as time passed by, people of outside start to use this forest as the hunting grounds. And the nature start to fight back. Forest became a haunted place inhabited by many dark and savage things.
So the same happened with his "forestwatchers".

Here is the initial sketches of the hero with several ideas for illustration.

And for the illustration, I'll go with the horizontal from the 2nd row.

Looking great. Like TCK said, a very nice flow and composition.
I'm looking forward to see what you can come up with with the colors. ^^

Cool design, cool sketches, cool illustration!
My only issue is that its not 100% clear that the camera is at an angle. It kind of looks like he's off balance. It should be an easy fix though, just add a horizon line or flat plane on the ground to show the tilt.

Yup, the camera angle been bugging me a little too. Flipped the image and yeah, he's totally trying to fall backwards. Ill fix it, thanks for the tip =)
