I didn’t take the appropriate time to really explain the artistic direction I wanted to take concerning my character.
Here’s my new mood boards.
I’ve decided to go ahead with the japanese
style, including the same outfit, hairstyle and accessories as a geisha would. I’ve also decided to trade the wooden staff and the forest’s spirits for a Kiseru (japanese pipe). The character therefore, remains a summoner and invokes spiritual entities using smoke.
I hadn’t created any character for quite a while ! I feel rusty !!

I’ve hesitated a lot before entering this contest for the sole reason that I simply thought it was a 'mission impossible' type of thing...But then I realized that no matter what the outcome may be, the most important thing to remember is the path that i chose to meet the endline ( and all the learning experiences that came with it ). So your comments, suggestions, tips, etc are as always most welcome!
