I'm choosing Fantasy! I'm a bit lost on where to go. All I know is that I want it to be a badass elf girl, but design wise...I'm lost.. here are some doodles. Can't decide between practical clothing, or showing more skin haha.

after posting, i decided to work on it more haha. still not sure of the direction, but at least i'm finding something...

i made more clothing thingies...i think i'm gonna go the druid route...its what i always played as in DnD and i think i have a background story now.

Really nice work, i like the 1st girls lighting and color and but 2nd gives the entire design color the tan look adds a bit, perhaps a medium of the two would make the perfect one?

That last pose looks good, i'd go for full body just to be safe, i am not participating in the 2D but the 3D and i am not a concept artist by any means just wanted to add some C&C for your entry.

@zyp thanks for the feedback yeah i'm a bit torn between my middle two colorings...maybe ill try to use stuff from the first one and combine them haha.

I like that second one a lot––her expression is really nice. I'm assuming it's a start to your illustration? Or are you still just figuring out her design? Either way, looks awesome so far!

@sanguine thanks yeah i'm trying to figure the illustration out before i finish the first thing, only because that's the part i'm most worried about!

Shes looking really interesting! The pose is powerful, and her clothing design fits fantasy and her powers which I assume like a nature manipulation ability? Overall keep going, this is really good so far!

@kreyhardt thanks yeah, she'll have druid type of abilities that help with bringing back life into nature and weather manipulation!

I really like the second and the third version of your character. Did you get your inspiration from the seasons colors? The first one seems to wear spring's colors, the second one summer's, etc... Very nice job btw !

@ninoune thanks for the colors i thought about the different types of leaves i see through out the year! I did the blue one because i felt like i needed a cool tone one. maybe i subconsciously thought of the seasons haha.

hopefully i fixed her anatomy for now....i'm gonna continue working on her actual full design before i go back to this but here's that progress...

My favorite is the red hair design. Red and green are such nice complimentary colors.

my cintiq and laptop monitor aren't exactly the same contrast...can't seem to fix it either so it's rather annoying.
i didn't realize how dark the shadows are until i posted this haha.
but this is what i have so far...definitely gonna fix that contrast problem and make her less orange haha.
