Character: Eli the Electromancer

Team: Sci-Fi!

Eli is the daughter of two brilliant scientists who are part of a underground movement to find and create a source of unlimited renewable energy. They are in constant hiding from a corporate run society that deny the dangers of the almost depleted supply of fossil fuels on the planet, and get rid of anyone who goes against them.

Eli grew up constantly surrounded by scientist and became fascinated by their work at a young age. It wasn't long before she joined in on their work and became a child prodigy among the other scientist, even creating her very own robot companion at the age of 17 that she called B.O.B. (Battery Operated Buddy) that ran off completely renewable energy.

However, it wasn't long before the corporate government found where the scientist were hiding and sent their military to shut them down. During the conflict Eli got separated from her family and the other scientist. With just her wits and her robot companion, who was later upgraded to B.O.B.B. (Battery Operated Buddy and Bodyguard), she is on a journey to find and learn from other scientist in hiding, along with finding out the truth of what happened to her family and where the might be.

My initial character sheet for Eli. I am still not sure about the orange for the elbow and knee pads. I added it for color contrast with the blue, but I think it stands out a bit too much. I might try to de-saturated it but if that doesn't work I am going to try and either look for a different color or just make it black. Any thoughts?

So for today's update I will be sharing my progress on my illustration for Eli!

I decided on what I wanted to do for the illustration and although the top shows a more updated and dynamic version, the bottom thumbnails are some of the ideas I have for the color theme. I am personally leaning towards A and D but I would really like to hear some opinions on what you guys think!
