Entering this, I'm applying to study concept art soon so thought this would be a good way to flex my creative muscles. Going for an organic twist on a traditional warrior I think, we'll see.

Ooo. Body-horror-as-armor, now there's an idea. I like how you're gradually settling on the 'Cthonic Hulk' body type, too.

I'm going for a titan of the forest kind of thing, this design sprung from the idea of a monster/goliath being controlled by a mage. So i'll be designing the controller of this character later as well. Got a few variants in armour design down too although I'll be exploring the design more over the next few days so it might dramatically change, advice is appreciated !

So this is the near final design I'm going with. From now I'll be designing the mage/controller, then creating the two turnarounds and then illustrations. Suggestions are welcome, early stages so I'm happy to take on ideas :3
