Freely exploring things at this point and trying to build my visual library. I'm liking the old lady character the most and have developed a bit of a story and world for her in my head, which I'll be exploring in the next stage. Happy new year folks!

My favorite would have to be design 6. It's the most unique and interesting one to me. All the isea are still cool. Glad to see your on the right side. The sci-fi side. Keep up the good work.

With the mod you can still make her an old lady the only issue might be the exposed arms since the rest of her is in the shielding, has a space feel to it.

5,6,7 are the best and the most different for me, youre really good in conceptualizing ideas, keep it up

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad to see there's bits you're finding interesting

I'm starting to go in a direction I'm happy with in some of these, but there's nothing that really excites me yet. I find writing stuff down and coming up with concepts beyond the character really useful, so I spent a few minutes doing that:

World: Earth has been reforested with bio-engineered trees that convert polluted air into a precious mineral. Humanity has been gone for 100 years, only a few small impoverished communities left behind. Now humanity is returning to harvest the forests and resettle the land.

Hero: She was a little girl when the hulking great metal cubes left the earth. Over the years she has augmented herself with left-behind technology, often weaving it together with elements from nature.

Some more explorations of character designs. trying to tighten up my shape language & proportions. The world has developed further in my head now and I have a clear brief for the character. 5 is hitting this best so I'll be developing her up, mixing bits in from some of the others.
