Just some minor development. More sketches.
For a goblin, he does wear some fancy clothes. Firstly, because he doesn't live with his kin, so he is much more civilized (both physically and psychologically) than them. And most of the stuff he owns, he stole them from others or he got them as rewards for his performance. I decided on the crown coz I thought it could make the design more interesting and also add depth to the character itself. Maybe he stole it from a king when he performed for the royal court? Plus, I'm going towards a more whymsical design, so random stuff is good lol.
As for his instrument, I decided on a lyre. A Saxon lyre to be more specific. It looks thinner than the regular Greek lyre. I haven't decided on the final design of the lyre. I want it to be simple and plain, but unique at the same time (you will be able to recognize it among other lyres).
I also think it will be cool if he has a gigantic lyre as tall as him. It will give him an interesting way to play it (add character) and also when he hangs it on his back, the size would give the character a more interesting silhouette. Maybe he could use it as a weapon and smack people too lol.
But the most important thing of all. Does he play and SING? Haha he must have a sweet voice. Wouldnt expect that from a goblin.
