So here I'm goin in with the soft light layer, getting in my base colors. Haven't resolved the issues that were addressed earlier yet.

Ah man honetly I wish I had put a lot more effort into all this beforehand instead of jumping in later. Bit too much on my plate lately to give this my full attention. But I'll still finish this dude!
