Really nice work on choosing the colors, I love the armor as well as it gives that majestic feeling, the bow is perfect, like what everyone said, it has a good flow. keep up the good work , i think you can work a lot more on the armor and overall dress , its missing details you can also add more weapons and maybe explain about all her powers and weapons

Yes you're right, things like the face looks very detailed compared to the rest. I've added a bit more in this version, but it's still not fully finished/satisfying. Adding more weapons/powers is a really good idea, I'm going to find some space for it ! Thank you for your feedback !

Concept sheet (wip 2)

I've started to render the full character, I still have work to do on the bow and details. I've also been adding some "blood gems".

I'm thinking about adding a huge sword that she would carry on her back and some little sentences she could say.
"If I fail, the whole world will burn"
"I wield the power of the sun and know no equal !"

The details are insanely good! My suggestion would be to add some different kinda of arrows for different purposes, like theres a super special arrow only used to break the sun at a certain place only, something like that I hope this is helpful

Concept sheet (wip 3)

Today, I've worked on the bow and added some details. I'm trying to organise the different elements around the character but it is still a bit messy.
Going to render the back version of the character tomorrow !

As you guys can see, I've changed a few things on the bow, to make it look more thin and light. I think I still have to work on it. (The arrows designs are not definitive, btw)

Thank you ! I feel really excited to start working on the illustration too aha ! But I don't like to start something before finishing what I was working on first, so I must finish this concept sheet...

Concept sheet (wip 4)

I've started to render the back view of the character. I plan to add some face expressions too. It would be a nice exercice for me as I don't work on those very often. I still need to work on the bow and on the organisation of the different elements plus the details of the second (back) view though.

I think that in the end, I wil have to shrink the two views of the character, but I'm afraid to loose some details...

Hey ! This is because she is meant to have some mix between a human foot and a cat paw. That's also why she can have claws. Do you think I should add some fur to make it more obvious ? Thanks for your feedback

Mmm, I don't know about the fur, it might look a bit out of place. But neither humans, nor felines have three toes.. Whatever, I'm sure you know what you're doing! ~(^O^)~
As for the flat thing, it does look better, but some strong rimlight will make it even better, imo.

Oh, I've just checked and you're are right, I don't know what I was thinking when I did three toes... My bad. Sorry about this. But anyways, I really like the design with those toes, I'm going to keep it. I'm definitely going to do some rim light then !

First of all, thanks a lot to all of you guys for your awesome advices, I was starting to feel a bit lost !

This will be the last wip for 2016, added a rim light, made some changes onto the bow and onto the second view of the character.

@ninoune , i think maybe you can improve your presentation a bit, i did a quick paint over so you can visualize.

Put some space so the elements can "breath" and remade her arm, this position is super trick, and it is hard to make look good, even if it's completely anatomic correct.

Since there is no need to make the 2 views extreme symmetric, why not look better right?

Yeah, we are all here to grow. I am just as beginner as anyone here, i don't know much really, i just like to help with the little i have.

I assume that if work for me maybe work for others haha. So worth the time.

I was mostly lost because I needed to spend time away from this, and those tips and advices helped me a lot in noticing the faults in my drawing. Thanks so much for being that supportive

I've been reworking the pose of the arm in the back view and organising elements as @Iago_Cavalcante suggested. I still don't know if I should call it final or not...
I would have loved to have more space to add some backstory, but I'm afraid I will loose too much details

Congratulations on fitting so much in so little space! It is a shame for the backstory, but maybe you could add character motivations or something? There's this awkward empty space between the two views, surely it can be used for something.
