Hey guys!

This is my first time entering a proper art contest like this, haha. I hope everything goes well and I manage to finish everything on time! Good luck to everyone!

I'll start off with very initial sketches.

I'll probably work on this short description, expand the story and so on! Anyhow, I am toying with the idea of this druid-witch-like character, probably a shapeshifter as well.
I am a full time student but I will do my best to post as frequently as possible!

So bunch of quick ideas for now, like her armor or her face/haircut. I'll work on some silhouttes of her and bear form next!

love the idea my only suggestion (and I know these are initial sketches and not proof of final concept) is to break up shapes of the body a bit more. the torso is too even to the size of the legs. I would just elongate one or the other to give a better sense of character flow. would love to see where this one goes

@rolandogrizzly Haha, thank you! And yeah now that I look at it, the body doesn't seem 'right', I'll play with some silhouettes while keeping that in mind! Thanks!

So, it's been a while, I've been really busy with many things, mostly school. But I managed to put together some stuff!

So, first, I decided to sketch some armors based on the silhouettes, I ended up liking the last variant the most, but I tweaked it a little later on.

That was the final sketch, and I went ahead to color it!

So, that's the current progress, admittedly, fabrics were the hardest bit for me, I had to take a step back and study them for a bit. So now I am working on the back view and the final illustration!
