Hi, my name is Quentin, I'm joining this now, a bit late but I'll take my chance

I'm editing this first post as a submition of my final images :

I have no many things to tell you about my hero, because I like when the story stay hidden for the most part ^^ Here is the basic speech for him : Name's Morpheistos, he's a hero from a fantasy universe. Robots are supposed to be his ennemies and I thought it could be cool to make my hero look like the total opposite of them. An organic constitution seemed to mark this opposition pretty well so I decided to draw a guy made of weird associations of body parts and bones, with a magic weapon, in opposition with robots' technological weapons.

Hope I'm going to get somewhere with this concept ^^ And hope I'm going to have enough time to finish it

First concepts/researches are coming right away.

First, I made a bunch of silhouettes, finally, I just picked the ones I liked the most and here they are :

I selected the one in bottom left. I'll upload the line work for the character tomorrow I think

Here are my researches and the concept sheet for my hero's foghorn. I thought it could be interesting to give it a mouth and teeth like it could litterally scream to call some help ^^

Then I thought about designing the staff (like a magic scepter or something like this). I wanted it to be in relation with the rest of the idea so I finally decided to give it a brain shape (as a metaphor for his strength coming from his mind, you know that kind of stuff... :3 ) and the handle made of twisted bones.

Ah man, I'm excited to see your character sheet. His weapons are quite unique. I'm especially digging the glowy brain staff. Very meatpunk.

Ahah yes I love robots too, actually I was about to go in team sci fi first but I thought a fantasy character would be more in my advantage :3 Thanks for your comment btw

I like sexual ambiguity when it comes to create characters, especially for the male ones. I think it's becoming a bit conventional to make them very muscular and full of testosterone, so I like to make them look more edgy sometimes ^^ So basically, this character is supposed to be a man and, you know, when it has no boobs, let's presume it's a boy then haha

For even more creepiest stuff...it would be nice if there was another huge eye ball in his back !
So you know...Watch your back haha

Or a double eyeball on each shoulder so the eyes can see everything ^^
Just suggestions like that, take it if you like

These shoulders looks EPIC! I am surprised I haven´t seen this kind of idea allready in some games or movies. Really, really nice work!

Oh yeah, I didn't think about this yet mr_dessin I think I'll probably incorporate these ideas to my line work for the back Thanks a lot for your suggestions
