Hey ! I really think all of your composition have a great potential, you just have to exagerate things here and there.
A: You've got a great triangular composition, however it hasn't got a great impact. If you choose this one, you should exagerate the lines and add a low angle shot.
B: Here, you can really show the dominance of your character. Make his enemy smaller, and here you could have fun by adding a high angle shot.
C: There is a great dynamic in this one. Couldn't find something to change. maybe you could make him shoot at one of the character in the background, because here it seems like he is escaping, it's not very courageous

@ninoune Thank you very much for this feedback! Yeah I lack exaggeration, I'll exaggerate more elements I'll keep that in mind! I agree with your thoughts on A, B and C! and your paint overs really helped me visualize whats wrong and whats right in my compositions! Thank you very much for that effort! As for that pose of my champion, I will still change that, he'll be shooting at someone out of frame Once again thank you

So I chose C cuz I love the clear composition and the perspective of it as well as the sense of motion! Thank you guys for the feedback! It really helps me to improve and it's not just me learning, all of us in general! I hope you like it! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

I really wanted to mix that nature (plants vines and trees) with the tech he has, so currently he's on a train, a train that is not functional. But cuz of his nanobots friends, he's controlling and hacking this train moving at a very high speed! There will be nano patterns on the roof of the train as an indication. And some nano stuff flying around and some leaves too. There'll be cyber monkeys/apes idk, around him and some bad human dudes. This is ambitious, but It will be so frikin awesome If we do this right!

I am excited about where this is aiming and I really like the idea of putting technology into a very "alive" environment that would contrast with it. And cyber monkeys?! Give it to me, wanna see them! What I still feel like though is you could open the frame a little bit more.

I changed the pose a little bit cuz the last pose was a little stiff and motion less and just generic.

I made him deflect a bullet using his sword and his right arm getting ready to shoot just after that deflection, I hope you can visualize what Im talking about hahaha

Hi buddy. Looks nice, though I think it's a pitty u gave up on that pose with sword in front of him. It looked more action and also I feel like it lost that interesting compo you had before. Other than that I like the colors of the environment and the environment itself has some interesting shapes! Good work, wanna see some updates ^^ ( for the posing, did you do a skeleton of your character? Some of the anatomy and proportion issues can be seen by that, If you're not sure I can try to do an overpaint for you if you want, but don't know your current version, since I expect you progressed during the last two days )

I think the main problem for me is the face. What is your character looking at? He seems to be staring at the ground a little way in front of him, he's certainly not looking where he is aiming his gun.
If he is in the middle of combat then his body language just isn't selling it to me.

I haven't read through this entire thread (it's huge!) but some of your earlier wips had a lot more dynamism to them. I think you should go back and have another read of the advice @ninoune gave.

I like your idea, but I think you lost the effect of speed that you had at the beginning, and that was the main point of your composition. You should try to lean him more ^^

And, if he is running, he can't have both leg in front of him ^^

Thank you @andrewnimble, yeah Im a bit disappointed too, It just doesnt look right when I have the arm extended on the front, and it blocks too much of the armor, which is not good. Maybe I'll try to do another composition but this time in a different angle Yeah the environment, I like it as well, just an old school nature background Well since Im already struggling with the anatomy, I'd love you to do a paintover for the skeleton! It would help a lot! I havent updated and havent made any progress since this update cuz im having a bad time haha, but thank you man! I appreciate your help

@moirae yeah I think thats the problem too, but I havent really payed attention to the face fully cuz I was having problems with the pose at that moment but thank you man for pointing that out, I'll keep that in mind! Youre right, soem of my earlier were actually better than this, I think I will have too haha, I will make new compositions to clear things out if I still dont feel 100% on this composition! @oten Thank you man! Yeah I lost it very quickly, I though I could make it better but it seems like I made the composition worse haha, well there were reasons including anatomy, pose, and the armor blocking issues. Thank you for the paintover man! Although he's not running, he's more like sliding on that futuristic rail even though it's unfunctional but he can hack stuff so it works again haha. SO yeah he has his both feet in front and kinda crouchy. I'll keep that in mind to not diminish the sense of speed in my pose next time! Maybe I'll create more compositions! Thank you man this helps a lot!

I made a new composition, this time it's a bit simple and clear. So basically he's shooting, grabbing his sword on his back and dodging an incoming projectile. So I think that's enough to show his skills and speed haha Tell me what you think This is just the silhouette.
