Thanks dude ! Pretty happy with the colors too
No problem! looking forward for further updates
Maybe today but that's not sure, new years eve preparation and cooking stuffBut Monday for sure !
Had few minutes to try some composition for the final image, did some simple composition, tell me if there's one you like in particular already, going to try some more later, Have a nice new year's eve ! and happy new year everyone ! See you in 2017 !!
Hello ! First update of 2017!Taking it slow, but i think i find a cool idea for the final illustration, it's a mid fight shot, blocking two opponant at the same time and ready to strike back.I think i have to move a bit the forground character so we get a better angle of the hero, what do you think ? Do you like this one or one of the previous post ?
Happy new year again !
I love this more! I prefer action illustrations and your idea of blocking both opponents at the same time is perfect for your champion, displays heroism and speed! Try to fix the composition though by giving it a little space, idk how you should do it, but try a landscape version of this, maybe it would have a little bit of breathing space Consider this suggestion if you think it's worth a try
Thanks a lot! I can't do a landscape version because it's also for my book and i have to go for a vertical composition. It's gonna be a challenge to make this work for sure but if i success that's gonna be great
Mhm, you definitely need some breathing room there. Now he looks like he is getting squished between the two opponents and not like he actually controls the situation. From the previous post, comp No3, if you bring the dude on his mount a little closer, put the camera below the level of the saddle and have him point his weapon at us... I'd say it'd look mighty fine.
I agree she sure need more breathing room, she's the hero and have to show who's the boss !I'll try your idea for the comp No3,that can give something great!
Whoops, sorry for the pronouns, I've been all over the place lately. xD
Haha don't worry about that, it's actually a good thing, it's part of her story to make people believe she's a "he" x)
I tried what you told me yorieofthecastle, what do you think ? I kinda like it
I'm definitely liking where it's going, though I imagined it a bit more like this:(just, next time tag me with the @ thing, that way I get a notification ^3^)
I dont know if this is what you were going for but it reminds me of a valkyre, and i love itgood job
I really like the latest version of your composition. But I think that it needs to be more dynamic. Maybe you should try to tilt the horizon line and to add a low angle shot like @yorieofthecastle did.Great job, keep up the good work !
Thanks a lot guys ! @yorieofthecastle @HorizonDweller @ninouneI agree it's definitely better with a little tilt gonna change thatAnd yeah she's a bit like a valkyrie, she's supposed to be a walking cliché, she represent justice and heroism. It's very important in the story but I can't say much without spoil
YES! the camera tilt and perspective change @yorieofthecastle addressed really helps the composition. cant wait to see the final
And now with the tilt and add a bit of story for the forground character, she has a little bomb behind her back, ready to strike back (I let you guess who's gonna win that fight )
The horse, duh. But be careful with how many story elements you add and to who. It's easy to lose grasp of the focal point if there are too many things to look at! ^3^
obviously the squirrel on the tree in the back will win.
