@yorieofthecastle yeah don't worry I haven't plan to add more story elements, that would be too confusing@Steve_Kim Haha you saw right throught it ! Gonna have to change my plans !
I've decided to finish working her face, and so I did, but now I don't know which one I should choose, what do you think ?The little cristal is quite important, it's the only magic item she has and part of her special moves, to be used only as last resort
I like 2. 3 is kinda plain and for 1... I have an irrational hatred towards differently coloured eyes when it comes to characters. Unless you can give a solid explanation for them xD
Seems like number 2 is winning (asked around me at home and she's the favorite too) Really ? But it's such a cool mutation, and pretty. I don't have any solid explanation, it appears randomly in nature so it appears randomly in my concept
I like 1 the most, it fits her personality and her power of that crystal, 2 is kinda of warrior-ish but it's still good. I would suggest try combining design 1 with design 2 eyes and lips, cuz her lips look really good in 2 :)) Great work man! I love these face designs, all of them to be honest haha
Thanks a lot !I'm gonna see if i can mix them!
I like the domination of the knight! IMHO, the thieve story element makes me think that she might not be able to handle when the surprise attack comes... Or she might be able to handle it. My point is, It distracts me from thinking how awesome this champion is, I'm worry about her instead.
Thanks a lot! Well that's exactly what i want to show, that she's really powerful but that she can be defeated, and for other reasons i can't tell it as to be this way. I'll do my best to make it subtle so it won't pop up too much
Before I start painting the whole image, I put in place my references so i can get the right mood and setup, this way i'm sure i'm going in the right direction. And here i can see there's still a lot to correct
Woah thats a really nice way of using references man! It's like Marc's technique when he paints haha! Looking good so far dude and the composition is excellent as well! Keep it up
Thanks a lot dude!
Hey !Started sketching the background, refining the armor, correcting some colors, adding and painting the face (need the correct the eyes direction) Still a lot to go thought
This Green is so calming <3 I like the dark shadow element in the foreground as well.
Many amazing effects can come into play... gobos, light rays, rim lights etc.
Check these out :
Interesting perspective o_O WOW :
Beautiful Mist :
Thanks a lot! Totally going to do some of those, i like a good old mysterious forest
Finally had the chance to work on the illustration, did some great progress on the background and the overall mood. I finally start to like where this is going
looking good so far. Id suggest a raised head so she is looking down at the girl. I think it would portray a more threatening scene than with the head tilted down. Have fun with this piece, the light shining off the armour looks like it'll be fun!
Thanks a lot ! Yeah I'm gonna try tweaking things a bit, I feel like we doesn't feel the dominance of the hero enoughAnd yeah her armor is going to be fun ! xD
Hi there, love the research and the ref usage. Looks like you can switch the directions pretty fast. I could suggest a more dynamic pose for Nashtar and her horse. Theres alot of potential you can play with, for ex https://www.pinterest.com/pin/506584658061761383/
Thanks dude ! That's something i'm trying for the horse, but it can't be that much or else there's just gonna a horse in the painting, so i'm testing different pose to have the right compromise Thanks again
Finally some update! I ask friends feedback before going further and now that I correct most of it thanks to them I can go to the next phase! And of course feel free to tell me if you see something wrong I may have missed
