My character will most likely be a mouse in the genre of Fantasy.
This mouse character will do battle and fulfill a quest/life mission.

The coming days I'll be doing some studies of mice and sketch them, together with landscapes that fit the world of this mouse. This mouse may get a travel companion too.

Working with more lineart and colours. He'll get more clothes and armour.
With or without neck? I'm getting mixed opinions.

So cute hope he/she will be amazing in the end, i already spoke my peace, i really do hope to see some amazing, since that is what the judges do want after all.

Don't worry i am not only just blowing smoke i am about to redo my entire thread so i am not just speaking out of inexperience.

Neck or no neck - {insert joke here} it really depends on how you want to approach the design, imho. Since it's a mouse you can get away with stylising it quite heavily, but if the design ends up being very detailed, you might need that neck for some breathing room.
As for how many toes/fingers a mouse has, it's a mammal like any else. Unless it's stylised of course.
