this is how i started, did not know what genre i wanted to do, even though i said sci fi.
tried to do sketches for both genres, just to see which one i would lean towards too.

and Sci fi it was! haha I want with the 3rd pose , from left to right. idk I liked that pose the most.

This is what i have so far, i have done research for clothing, mechanical stuff for armor and helmets,.. but it seems that i need MORE! haha

I noticed i've been using the same round shape for the helmets, trying to have more sharp edges.
