I was searching the web for some ideas. I tried something with symbols and I found in Kanji word "Sage". For me the symbol looks like two crossing swords / katanas. So it gave me an idea of making a female samurai warrior with two 'magical' katanas which can summon an ancient samurai demon with identical swords. The trick is that every her move the demon does exactly the same with increased power. (when I read it sounds a bit lame haha, but I think that this time the drawing is more important than the story)This is my first idea of what she and he look like. Tell me what you think. Oooh your concept sketches are looking great. Im really glad you told us the story, it gives me vision of how she fights and her personality. I always think of my champion fighting others champion such as yours....and man it gives me goosebump. I would love to see more man!

wow amazing story and also love the characterthe demon reminds me of anime bleach and the story reminds me of tekken tag tournament boss unknown remember how she used to have wolf hovering behind her which would mimic her moves maybe you can take some reference from there

I love bleach! But still thinking about the design to make it more demonish. You're right, the style resembles a bit of unknown. I was rather thinking to make the Demon stand side by side or in front rather than behind. WIll see what happens nextThanks for commenting!

Did some thinking for the female character. In the first one beceause of the hat the swords had to be placed normally. I made them more like katanas with some kanji runes which would glow. The second one has the previous idea for placing the swords but no hat beacues it just wouldn't work ;(Tell me what you think and with or without the mask. Next time I will probably try something with the demon but I don't know when cause a bit busy Enjoy
I love the second design, especially the big swords she got on her back. Maybe try to combine the mask and back of design 1 to design 2, that would be awesome!
Obviously the third one is the best
But I'm really digging the first option, the swords look really nice and I love the silhouette.

I think it's coming along beautifully, and the whole "puppet" concept would be really neat to see in action.
i love the shoulder pads and her hair but my favourite were those broad swords
