First time on here, and want to try to challenge myself since I rarely finish pieces.

Normally I would pick Fantasy right away but I decided to go out my comfort zone and practice on some Sci fi

Obviously by my username I usually play support or mage type characters and have alot of influences from MMO's, anime ,manga/manhua and fantasy/sci fi movies.
Going to try to post lots of WIPs since i'm very indecisive and trying to learn new techniques.

Nice I see a lot of people going the comfortable route I am also attempting to stretch my abilities.

Looking forward to any updates and posting progress is what this is all about. Though i don't see many supporting replies on entries, possibly the "conflicting themes", are creating static on assisting the opposing entries.

Which renders the entry into the contest moot since theme's should promote community as they stated in the guidelines but i think everyone missed that part or a few did. (this is more for staff than you but still valid cause users will read this as well.)

Some indecisive sketches

I want to keep the plant robots/drones in the final image for sure. I'm going to use more references for plants and poses.
I want to keep smaller tubes of seeds with the character, almost like a summoner but with hybridized plants and/or plant drones at their disposal.

The pencil drawing is hard to see but it's a holo shield powered by a rooted robot. It gathers solar power for maintaining itself and saving extra power for my sci fi fighter.
