Update.
Little bit of backstory...
"Neutralife" (not sure about the name yet) is not a god(ess), nor human, nor alien, nor a machine...but a bit of everything.
She gives life to worlds and destruct them when she feels they deserve it.

I know it was a hard way to get here - with all my crazy changes since the start hum...but now I'm 99% sure to stay with this one

What I need right now is a good name...
"Neutralife" is...meh, no ?

"LifeCycle" maybe ?
"WorldsMother", for instance would be even worst
I don't want "her" to be really identified...I mean she is more or less everything..."creator" is too common...oh man, I always struggle with names...

Names are hard for me too! A lot of times I just look up words/synonyms that describe my character and see if a good name arises from there Maybe "Anima" or "Crea" (from animation or creation )? Or possibly you could draw on mythology and call her "Gaia"?

Anyway, keep up the good progress! Interested to see where you take it.

This is a difficult task to come up with the name of your character, as an option I can offer Leela

Hum...tough one
I would have suggest to give it your name, you know "she" creates world like you do when you paint, so it would add depth and some kind of paradox, would be interesting

I don't know maybe it's a stupid idea but it may help you

Blocking almost every of my blurry shapes into lineart...man there is too much details already ^^'

Values are still wrong.
Undecided on that worm-thingy (the end of it I mean) - I've tried almost 10 different stuffs but...this is not really working...
I'm not sure if you could see it but that sort of big eyeball is transfering DNA to that world in creation phase.
I also need to find a better design for that snooker stick thingy...
Feelings, thoughts, feedbacks, names ? haha

I think about "Almighty"...but this is too close from religion/god...and well it's masculin name

This is something I often not doing - greyscale; and honestly I really should do more - I say that for me but everybody too
I know I certainly have a lot of details unclear...it takes so much time, but that's cool

Just a little worried I have too much details. I hope that won't distract people too much...probably need to do a simple colour scheme.
2, 3 or 4 colours. But plenty of different variation schemes.

So my only criticism is something you've already covered yourself! There is a lot of detail, and especially being that this is a bit 'alien', the viewer could have a hard time picking out what things are and how it all fits together. Be sure to really define what things are are as you start rendering. Use your values to focus the eye, and create enough depth that the character is readable.

I think the design is really cool at this point, the hand design is especially nice! I like this design much more than your original character design.

I don't think people really know (maybe @yuushin7 & @nganguyen - take a look at their topic too by the way, honestly they both are more talented than me (and sure plenty others here haha) ^^) but that's very rare I'm doing a design so complicated like that !

I agreed with you my first design was a bit meh (even if it's cool...but not enough "epic" - what the contest is about).
Will try to do the best of my possibilities, and already can tell I've already outdo my expectations for the contest !
And I certainly keep in mind your advices, thanks again

I think you need to lighten the two shoulders in the distance to really make them appear behind the head. Then to make the atmospheric perspective match i'd decrease the amount of change between the two arms near the front. I'm sorry it's quite a difficult thing to describe, I can try doing a paintover of what I mean if you want me to

Yeah I really got some troubles with my values...and well I'm not very sure to understand everything you said ^^' sorry man...
And don't take too much time on it if you do a paintover - but seeing how you work so fast like..."the flash" - I guess it takes you just few seconds, I mean micro seconds haha
