Hello folks,

I´m pretty late but it would be a shame to not participate at this art war.
I will create a beast for the SyFy-Faction.
I have an enormous artificial creature in mind that roams the universe
like a force of nature and devour the planet, Starfleet and civilizations that are on their way.

Lets see if I can do this.

I print the shapes I drew out in low opacitiy and try to sketch some details in.
The Kraken Sketch get some beauty in my opinion.
Now I will roughly shade the designs, and I will consider which of them I will develop further.

Awesome designs! The middle one and the bottom left one have the most interessting silhouets I think. ^^

I´ve done the rough shading... aaaaaaaaand... dont know what design I like the most.
So I will sleep a night over it. Maybe that helps...
It suprising for me, that you guys like the bottom left so much... I tought he might be to..
final fantasy like... for a syfy theme.

I decided to develop the design on the lower left.
I would like to draw the devourer as he eats a planet.
This will cover quite a lot of his body, but I like the sketch very well and
since there is not much time left,
I will finish this picture for the competition.

I'm not quite sure if I'm 100% satisfied with the final image, but since
the time is pressing, I'll leave it for now and will finish the info
