Hello. My name is Ana.
My friend had involved me in this madness, nothing special.
But my dedication to the fantasy world is.
For me, Fantasy world is not just a "reality runaway" but something that can emphasize the real world beauties and enrich it with very special vibes, "overturn'' the reality without escaping it. Also, it is a way to create something that only your mind could create.
Besides- fantasy world is something that can educate esthetics and even moral qualities since childhood without beeing boring, a link between the forgotten old times, legends, and the racing modern realities and tech.
Developing my style, I was mostly inspirited by Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Art, Gothic, and Dark Asian fantasy.
[ABOUT THE CHARACTER]
I chose a very (like veeery) traditional character- The Siren, fable greek creature, both absolutely beautiful (including the power of music) and macabre, to breathe a new story in it and give that sea monster the unexpected Hero Personality.
{ILLUSTRATION PLOT}
In my illustration work, i decided to boom the drama : D
And-
show the interaction between the Fantasy and SiFi world. Of course- remaining fantasy maiden as my main point. So, don't be surprised to see SiFi sketches coming along with fantasy ones.
For now, this is just the fragment of the first sketch page to my work. ( I usually start with traditional pencil sketches)
Also, I hope I could update this topic properly- this web service new for me, so I can be pretty messy with it.
