So I explored alternative poses that involves a lot more action, and I'm liking these versions! What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your opinions

Damn pretty cool progress! Personally I prefer the first pose with the arms spread as it conveys better the dynamism of warping there, and i think you nailed the distortion effect left behing at the bike, as the position displacement reads better than with previous thumbnails.

Or maybe the second pose, as it is more aggressive, but including more the legs with that kind of movement the other pose has. And with having the backpiece visible you can show how it makes the warping posible.

I heard that in the final illustration we have to put at least 80% of the champion in the canvas.

Really cool alternative poses, vote B...but maybe the head need to be a little more on the back to give more strength to it and his left arm a little higher on other guy's head diagonal (perspective) for a good flow

Just little suggestions here, do as you please.
And forget to say but really like your colour thumbnails scheme !

Thanks @bazuzu! So here's a progress update on the illustration, I'm feeling good about this direction! I'm thinking this is close to completion, just some cleanup and detail to wrap this one up

As much as I like it I have the feeling - I hate to say that but I can't resist to help - your hero look way more heavy in proportions - especially the helmet/head - than in your character sheet.

One last thing, no problem if you feel the need to critique my stuffs too (you or someone else sure )
Really enjoy that contest and the Cubebrush community.

Great work dude! If I can suggest. You can add a bit more blue variation on the effects so it is not too monotone. Try to use color doge layer and add in some near purple blue and glow stuff.. just a minor crit it's totally up to you if you prefer this. Cheers and goodluck! I gotta catch up to ya!
